The City of Cortez provides water service, trash pick-up and recycling pickup to Cortez residents. To set up a new account, make changes to an existing account, or report problems, contact the Finance Department. You can also pay your bill on-line.
Electric power is provided to area residents by Empire Electric Association. Atmos Energy Company serves the area's natural gas needs. The Federal Energy Management Program offers information on conserving energy and purchasing energy efficient appliances.
Sanitary sewer is provided by Cortez Sanitation District. They can be reached by calling 970.565.3962.
Telephone service is provided by Qwest. For home service call 800.244.1111. For business service call 800.603.6000.
Cable television service is provided by Baja Broadband. You may contact them at 970.565.4031.
