Southwest Memorial Hospital serves Cortez and the surrounding area. Completed in December of 2004, our hospital has a new laboratory and pathology department with twice the work area as before. Our radiology and imaging department is three times larger. Our new “state of the art” MRI machine is housed in the new radiology department making the process much more convenient for both patients and staff. The operating room area is five times larger and is equipped with all new and up to date surgical equipment.
