With the recent storms, it has been noticed that many of the trash containers are surrounded by piles of ice and snow. This makes it difficult – not to mention dangerous – for the City crews to reposition (push, pull, and/or shove) the containers close enough to the trash truck so they can be emptied. If a trash container cannot easily be moved, the Refuse Crew will be unable to empty it. They will return on the next scheduled pick-up day. Your cooperation in this matter is greatly appreciated.
