The Cortez Municipal Aquatics Complex is located at 803 E. Montezuma Avenue. This facility is open to the public seven days a week for your enjoyment and can be contacted by calling 970.565.7877. The outdoor pool will open for Memorial Day weekend, and close Labor Day weekend.
The aquatics complex hosts a 125-foot double loop water slide. Small children can also have a blast in our regulated depth baby pool. Locker rooms are equipped with showers and lockers. Outside food or coolers are not allowed, as concessions are sold on site.
Pool Rental
Beginning June 11, the pool can be rented on Fridays from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., Saturdays and Sundays from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. The fee is $140 for up to 100 people. Parties with over 100 people will be charged for the cost of additional guards.

Swimming Lessons
The Cortez Municipal Aquatics Complex participates in the American Red Cross Learn to Swim Program. Early registration is held in front of the facility beginning the Thursday before each two-week session, beginning at 7:00 a.m. on a first come, first served basis. Children must be five years old by August 30, 2010, and must bring proof of age. Adult and Tot classes are available for children who don't meet these requirements. The cost is $30 for each two-week session, and classes are held Monday thru Friday.

Adult Lap Swim
Lap swim is open to the adult public, and pool guidelines for swimming laps must be followed. Lanes are not provided during open swim times.
Lap time is from 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Monday - Sunday, with the exception of June 4, 5, and 6.
The Pool will be closed June 4th, 5th and 6th for a swim meet.
