Conquistador Golf Course

Conquistador Golf Course is located at 2018 N. Dolores Road, off Highway 145.  Conquistador is a championship 18-hole golf course with sand traps, water hazards, practice driving range and putting green. The course features an excellent playing surface and beautiful surroundings that provide the challenge to make every round of golf enjoyable.  The course is the best value in the region for golf.

The Conquistador has its own personality and stunning panoramic scenery. From almost any spot on the course one can view La Plata Peak, Mesa Verde, and Sleeping Ute Mountain. The Conquistador course is mostly flat and lined by Ponderosa pine and piñon trees. This public course is open March 1 through November 15 depending on the weather. Water hazards (lakes and creeks) come into play on eight of the eighteen hole Championship Golf Course, and the small greens are moderately undulating. The most difficult hole is #5, a 415-yard par 4, featuring a sharp dogleg left with trees on both sides of the fairway and requires an accurate approach shot onto the most undulated green on the course.  This course has a reputation for having one of the best greens in the 4 corners region with consistent speed and true roll it is enjoyable to all players.
