Sales tax is administered by the Finance Department. The current sales tax rate for the City of Cortez is 4.05%. This is city sales tax only. In addition there is a Montezuma County sales tax and a State of Colorado sales tax for sales within the City of Cortez city limits. For more sales tax information contact:
