The Finance Department, with offices located in City Hall, handles the routine billing for City services and the Cortez Sanitation District sewer billing. The Finance office also collects and invests City revenues, makes payment of all expenditures and payroll of the City, and is responsible for the general accounting of these functions.
The City of Cortez provides water service, trash pick-up and recycling pickup to Cortez residents. To set up a new account, make changes to an existing account, or report problems, contact the Finance Department Billing Clerk at 970.564.4012.
